When you write in, it helps if you include:

  • Your account email (the one you used to sign in).
  • A short description of what's happening.
  • A screenshot or screen recording if the issue is visual.
  • Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).

Common questions

How do I link with my partner?

After creating your account, you'll see a "Plant the garden" or "Join the garden" choice. One partner picks "Plant the garden" and generates an invite code on the next-to-last step of onboarding. The other partner picks "Join the garden" and enters that code. Once both of you finish onboarding, your gardens are linked — you'll see each other's reflections after both have answered the day's question.

What does Nous+ unlock?

A single Nous+ subscription covers both partners in your couple and includes:

  • All 8 virtue plants and 4 additional bloom species
  • Private Love Notes — short sealed letters you can send each other
  • Bonus Questions — additional daily prompts beyond the core question

Pricing is shown inside the app and varies by country.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Nous PlusCancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Deleting the Nous app does not cancel the subscription.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for subscriptions are processed by Apple, not by us. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID that was charged.
  3. Find your Nous Plus purchase and follow the prompts.

Apple decides whether to approve the refund — we don't have visibility into that process.

How do I change my partner?

To unlink from your current partner, you need to delete your account and start fresh. There's no in-app "switch partner" flow today because we want both partners to make that decision together. Email us if you need help with this — we can guide you through it.

My partner can't see my reflections

This usually means one of two things:

  1. One of you hasn't answered today's question yet. Reflections only reveal once both partners have answered.
  2. You haven't actually linked yet. Check Settings → Profile → it should show both partner names. If you only see your own, the invite code didn't complete — try the linking flow again.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Outside the app: visit our account deletion page for instructions and an email-based request form. Account deletion has a 30-day grace period — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Push notifications aren't arriving

  1. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Nous → make sure Allow Notifications is on.
  2. Check if you have a Focus mode enabled (Do Not Disturb, Sleep, etc.) — these silence pushes.
  3. Force-quit and reopen the app.
  4. If notifications still don't arrive, email us with your account email and iPhone model.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your reflections and love notes are visible only to you and your linked partner. We don't sell data, run ads, or use your content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Reporting bugs and feedback

If you've found a bug or want to suggest a feature, send it to noustogether.support@gmail.com with "Bug" or "Feature request" in the subject. We read everything, even if we can't reply to all of it.

Security and abuse reports

If you believe someone is using Nous to harass, threaten, or harm another person, please email noustogether.support@gmail.com with as much detail as you can share. Include account emails involved if possible. We take these reports seriously.

For security vulnerabilities, also use the same address — please don't post them publicly until we've had a chance to fix them.
